ABOUT
Growing up in Germany and moving over France to Switzerland, I am currently based in Norway. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Molecular Neuroscience in Basel, Switzerland. In Oslo, Norway, I completed my Ph.D. in neuroscience and biological psychology (find a summary of my PhD project here). I thrive in data-driven working environments that require both analytical and creative thinking. Therefore, for the time being, I investigate the neuroendocrine oxytocin system as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oslo, using comparative evolutionary biology, imaging genetics, meta-analysis, data science and open science tools.
Research combines these attributes and also requires curiosity and endurance. Aptly, in my leisure time, I enjoy practicing different creative activities (e.g., painting, playing music, knitting), I am amateur triathlete, and I love travelling to explore unique nature, flora and fauna. Just as I stand behind open science principles and transparency vocationally, I am a strong advocate for sustainability and integrity in my leisure time.
